Learn more about becoming a Cub Scout
Who can Join?
If you are a boy in first grade through fifth grade—or
you're 7 to 10 years old—then Cub Scouting is for
you. It's for your family, too.
How Much does it cost?
Pack dues are $65.00 per year, Boys Life Magazine Subscription
(optional) cost $14.00 per year. Of that $65,$11 goes to BSA and the rest goes towards awards.
What will I need?
The two things you will need is a Scout Uniform, and the
Scout Handbook. You can purchase them from one of the local
scout shops, or online
from the Online
Catalog.
How do I sign up?
You can join one of our weekly meetings, and fill out an
application to join. For more information call 832-615-6707,
or sign up online here.
How often are the Scout Meetings?
Each Den decides on how often they want to meet. The parent then decides how often their child will come.
What are the rules?
1. You must memorize the Cub Scout Promise, Law, and Motto,
know what they mean, and promise to always do your best.
2. Obey your den leader, assistant den leader, den chief,
parents and adult leaders. It will one day be your turn
to be a leader, and you will want the same treatment.
3. Always have FUN, and always be considerate of others.
